Walmart Inc. has updated its Food Safety Microbiology and Toxicology Specifications for all Walmart and Sam’s Club Private Brand food and beverage products. These updated specifications reflect Walmart’s ongoing priority for the health and safety of its customers. According to Walmart Inc.’s Food Safety Requirements for Private Brands, all Private Brand products must fully comply with Walmart’s specifications, including standards for microbiological, authenticity, and chemical properties. As a supplier, you must implement and maintain programs that verify compliance with these specifications. You must also be prepared to present evidence of this compliance when requested.
